Dynamic Tea Party Leader Chooses Ward as the Best Hope to Defeat Mitchell

June 28, 2010

McGill is a leader of the Cave Cree/Carefree tea party movement and founder of the conservative grass roots group wethepeopleaz.com.

“I am supporting Jim Ward for Congress because he is a strong, fiscal conservative who will fight for limited government, free markets, secure borders and an unbending adherence to our Constitution,” said McGill.  “Most importantly, I’m supporting Jim in the August 24th primary because he is the only Republican candidate who can beat incumbent Democrat Harry Mitchell in November,” he added.

“I consider it an honor and a major vote of confidence in our campaign to have Arch McGill’s endorsement,” remarked Jim Ward.  “Arch represents the core conservative values I believe we need in Washington in order to return our country to a sound economic footing and position of strength and security.”

In addition to Arch McGill, Jim Ward has been endorsed by Congressman John Shadegg, Former Arizona Governor Fife Symington, Scottsdale Mayor Jim Lane, Scottsdale City Councilman Bob Littlefield, Tempe City Councilmember Onnie Shekerjian, Mesa City Councilmember Dina Higgins and the Chandler Chamber of Commerce among others.
