“The Republican victories in both New Jersey and Virginia are clear testaments that Americans have become increasingly unhappy with the liberal policies that Washington Democrats are forcing on American families; the failed stimulus package, a trillion dollar government-run health care experiment, imposing a job-killing national energy tax and selling out American allies across the world. 

Harry Mitchell and his fellow Democrats are clearly out of step with the American public as voters are rejecting the ideas of expanding government, increasing spending and raising taxes.  I am committed to the Republican core principles of less government, lower taxes, personal freedom and responsibility and these election results foreshadow the right kind of change for Republicans in 2010 including Arizona's CD5.
